I joined the company I work for a little over 9 years ago. At that time we were around 1000 people world-wide, and at our headquarters site, we were just moving into a new building. 9 years on we have around 7000 people world-wide, still growing aggressively, and the one HQ building is now a campus of 10 state of the art offices on a beautifully landscaped campus. I was walking between buildings the other day in the warm California sun, and thought "I am sooo lucky to be working here – this is a great place to be."

 

Not only are the surroundings beautiful, but the people are 2nd to none. We’ve somehow managed to pick (and keep) a workforce that is the envy of most companies in Silicon Valley, and as I walk around our campus, and interact with the people here, I can’t help but wonder when I am going to wake up. It’s no surprise we’ve been high in the Fortune magazine "100 best places to work" survey for the past 6 years.
