Well I’ve been in the new house for a little over a week now, and while it’s lacking a lot of things (furniture and a family to name a couple), it’s starting to feel like home.

 

It’s in a lovely area, the neighbors that I have met so far are great, it’s well placed for all sorts of shops and stuff, and while there are a couple of quibbles about the house, there’s nothing major to complain about.

 

I have a little furniture in the place – there are a few more little bits I need to get, but the rest is to wait until my family arrives (so they can help choose it), so I’m rattling around the place right now. I’ve even started cooking meals again (when people haven’t been inviting me out to eat!), but I need to work on getting the quantities right as I’m not used to cooking for one!

 

I’m sure the next 3 weeks will fly by…..
